We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer (.NET) who wants to do more than write great code.

What You'll Do
- Lead the technical design and development of new features while helping evolve and maintain our existing platform.

- Design scalable, secure and maintainable backend services and applications using C# and .NET.
- Research and validate new technologies, infrastructure, frameworks and services to determine where they can create meaningful business value.
- Help establish technical standards, design patterns and engineering best practices across the team.
- Conduct code reviews and provide thoughtful technical guidance to other engineers.
- Mentor engineers and help them strengthen their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Work closely with Product and business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions.
- Investigate challenging production issues and customer problems, identifying both immediate fixes and long-term improvements.
- Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, testing, performance optimization and secure software development practices.
- Leverage AI coding tools throughout the engineering lifecycle to accelerate development, improve code quality and automate repetitive work.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and bring new ideas to the team.
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience with Entity Framework.
- Deep understanding of relational databases, including database design, SQL, query analysis and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture and design principles such as Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience building and supporting scalable, high-concurrency web applications.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- A track record of taking ownership of complex technical problems and driving them through to successful delivery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to mentor and elevate other engineers.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
- Experience using AI-powered coding tools or working with AI-driven products is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
Why Comm100?
